I have been teaching English and Vietnamese for 2 years. I love teaching languages individually because I can clearly see my students' improvement, which is my core motivation.

My name is Nguyen The Vu. I am living in Vung Tau, a beach city next to Sai Gon city in Viet Nam. I have been a classroom and online professional language instructor for more than ten years. I have helped people study our culture and language.

I am a CELTA qualified teacher with an 8.0 overall in IELTS (Speaking 8.0, Reading 8.5 and Listening 8.5) and I have been tutoring teenagers and adults to improve their speaking, pronunciation and listening skills. Vietnamese is my native language and I am also good at English. I had 4 years studying in University of social sciences and humanities of Ho Chi Minh city where I saw many foreigners studied Vietnamese. There are 2 purposes to study Vietnamese 1. I started working as a Vietnamese and English tutor since early September last year, it has been an interesting, and wonderful experience to me personally. While helping an Australian friend study Vietnamese, I accidentally found out about my ability in teaching Languages, with the encouragement of my friend, the journey of me becoming a tutor began! As for teaching experience, I do not consider myself as a master of teaching. However, the first thing that springs to my mind is that I teach with my passion and enthusiasm. I am not strict with my partner. I do not like putting pressure on my partner's shoulders. I honestly do not want people call me teacher because I think it is good to be their language partner.
