Besides loving languages, I also very much enjoy learning about and discussing tech, pop culture and history. I love games of all types as well, especially those with inbuilt narratives. Although I do not do it as often as I used to, I used to travel a fair bit, both for my personal enjoyment and as part of my language learning routine, and I have been to the US, Japan, England, France, Italy, Uruguay, and multiple states within my home country of Mexico. I became a Japanese teacher around 2010 after spending several years working hard towards earning my JLPT level 3; some years later, as an experiment, I decided to try applying what I had learnt about teaching and motivation in Spanish and acquired a diploma by the Cervantes Institute for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I am best geared to teach intermediate and advanced students, but I'm more than happy to help you create a solid foundation if you're willing to work hard from the very beginning. I am very passionate about creating spaces for conversation between my students and I. I will always focus first on helping you start creating thoughts and ideas of your own and communicating ASAP. I generally take about 2-3 classes to figure out a student's strong and weak suit, and I always try to modify my classes to work better with each individual student. I have a 10 minute tardiness tolerance policy. I will also gladly return your fee if notified of a problem.
