Journalist, Pilot ✈ Traveler I'm from Bogota, Colombia (South America), I'm 28 years old. I'm a Commercial Pilot and a Journalist. I love teaching and sharing my love for foreign languages and cultures with others. My native language is Spanish but I started learning French when I was 7, English when I was 8 and Italian when I was 13 years old, so I've been there, I know what it feels to be a student and I know the path from not knowing a single word to become bilingual... Welcome to this beautiful experience, I'm pretty sure we're going to have fun while learning. I'm learning German but my level is still elementary. I teach English, Spanish, French and Italian. Learning a foreign language is not as difficult as people usually say, trust me. It only takes practice, patience, confidence, and compromise to get to learn, write and speak well... I've been a teacher and a tutor for 10 years now and, during this time, I've concluded that having a great time is the best way to learn. So, be prepared to share your interests and practice while talking about different topics, especially those you care about. You know, learning a foreign language is getting to know and experience a brand new culture... It's like a whole new universe opening in front of us. I've noticed at the beginning the students are usually shy when it comes to talking, but they eventually end up gaining confidence that's why I always encourage them to talk and make mistakes so I can correct them. The lesson was great! Juan is a great conversationalist with very varied areas of interest. He corrected my errors without impeding the flow of conversation which is a rare skill. I definitely recommend a lesson with Juan.

Always a great lesson with Juan!!! Siempre una lección grande con Juan! El es muy paciente, y interesante, y listo!! He is patient , interesting, and smart! Mi español es mejor despues de nuestra lecciones . My Spanish is better after our lessons. BOOK a lesson with him, you wont regret it!!
