My name is Michael and I am a native English speaker with a passion for learning and teaching languages. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe as well as further afield and greatly enjoy learning about different cultures. I have a very patient and gentle personality and I love getting to know new people. I love learning and always strive to continue developing my skills and abilities. I have extensive experience of teaching in classroom and other formal settings but my preferred method is through personal tuition. I have been teaching a variety of subjects over the course of my professional life but languages have always played a major role. I am flexible in my style in order to suit the needs of the individual. I can offer structured lessons looking at particular areas of grammar or vocabulary as well as the option of setting tasks to be carried out independently ready for the next session. Alternatively I am also happy to engage in more informal teaching through conversation practice or offering guidance around any particular subject in which the learner is feeling less confident.
