IsiZulu for Beginners and Elementary Level

This course will focus on helping children to improve their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary skills.

It is suitable for children between 7-12 years old ONLY.  I do not teach children who are younger than 7 years old.  They can be beginners who are low levels, but also know the English alphabet and can read even a little.  The lessons will be interactive and a lot of fun!  The books are very colourful and have great stories which ensure that children want to learn as much English as possible, at all levels.  Depending on the child, their level and progress, I may use extra books and materials not specified above.

I suggest that you book a Trial Lesson first so that I can test the child's level and get to know them a little bit.  The second class will be where I use the curriculum books.

This is suited to students who are making a transition from A2.  You know the basics, but cannot always use them accurately or can only carry out quite basic conversations.  Stronger students at this level can also speak about less familiar topics, but will often speak with long pauses.

The difference between you and a B1 student is that you understand a lot more than you are able to say and this will be very frustrating.  If there is a word that you want to say, but you don't know how to, you know how to find a way around it.

Lower & Upper-Intermediate B1 or B2 * Lower & Upper Advanced C1 & C2

This course is for adults and teenagers only.  Those who just want to practice what they already know.  Or refresh their memory.  During this informal lesson, we can talk about anything you want.  We can chose a few fun and engaging topics together or you can tell me before what you'd like to speak about.  Or maybe you have an interview or conference you need to prepare for.  During this lesson, I will give you feedback, correction and advise.  We will focus on your Speaking and Listening Skills only.  Some homework could be included if you'd like.

Please note that in this course, I will NOT be teaching grammar that is completely new to you.  But I will help you to maintain and polish what you already know.  Or I may give you alternative ways to say certain things.  If you are a beginner, intermediate or an advanced level student, this course is aimed at practicing conversation at your level.

The most important thing is that this lesson will be fun and relaxed.  So don't be shy.  We can go as slow or as fast as you like.  No pressure for you.

If enjoy studying with friends, this course can also be done with up to 3-4 people.  So if you and 2-3 of your friends want to work together to improve your conversation fluency, this course will work for you.
