Hello, my name is Liam and I am from Southern England. I am quite active and I like running, cycling, and hiking through the hills. I enjoy travelling our world to learn about new cultures in the places that I visit. And I also enjoy going to the cinema with friends. I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 2018, mainly in summer schools but also on a one-to-one basis. I prefer to teach adults either Business or Academic English, drawing on my experience as an engineer to assist you in your professional or academic success. But I am happy to teach any student wishing to further their knowledge and understanding of the English language so please get in touch. I like to understand what your learning style and needs are so that I can tailor our sessions together to meet your goals. Perhaps you need to learn English for work so that you can communicate in a clear and understandable way. Or perhaps you wish to study in an English-speaking country and need to learn academic English to allow you to study abroad. Either way I offer lessons in a fun and engaging way as a step-by-step solution to meeting your goals. I also teach about British culture, such as traditions and sports, and the various phrases that we use in everyday life to bring colour to our language. If your aim is to live or work with British people I will include this in your lessons.

I think this was the first time I had a really good first lesson. He was correcting me even when I thought I was speaking clearly, when in reality I was making many pronunciation mistakes related to my native language. He also corrected me on the way of saying things to sound more natural rather than just fluent.
