I am a French and English teacher, born to a French father and a British English mother. I speak English and French in my everyday life. I'm a book worm, an amateur cook and a daydreamer. Teaching languages has been running in the family for decades and I have teaching English for 6 years, to children and to adults. I also have the DAEFLE French teaching diploma from the Alliance Française. Learning a language is more than just learning words, grammar rules and idioms. It's discovering a new way of thinking, a new way of seeing the world, and I am convinced that it should be an exciting and fun experience. That is what I have been striving to bring to my students for the last year's. I focus mainly on conversation, using whatever topic I or the student would like to discuss. We can talk over online articles, movies, videos, books, current events, pieces of art... I sometimes bring up certain gammar points or pronunciation, but I never make it an entire focus during the lessons, unless necessary or requested by the student.
