This course is specially designed for children and young learners.  We will spend a portion of each class learning vocabulary, reading, and working on grammar.

Reading and Grammar

Do you need to improve your writing?   Do you struggle to put together cohesive sentences?   This course focuses on improving your writing, whether you need to focus on grammar, sentence structure or composition.

I have also taught English on the college level for 4 years.  I love helping my students to succeed!,My love of the English language began when I was a child.  I immersed myself in books, from children's classics and adventure stories to the classics of English literature. 
While a teenager, I had the opportunity to live in Mexico and Nicaragua where I learned to speak Spanish.  My knowledge of a second language enables me to be a better ESL teacher;  I have personal experience in the struggles involved with learning another language. 
While at college, I majored in Secondary Education  with proficiencies in English and Math ; after receiving my bachelor of science degree I also received my Master of Education degree. 
Since completing my college education, I have worked as a tutor for over 7 years.  My tutoring experience has been primarily teaching reading, phonics, grammar and writing.  For 4 years, I taught English at the college level, specializing in teaching writing.
I love teaching, and I would love to be your teacher!
