Hi guys! My name is Emma and I am a native Swedish speaker. I grew up in Sweden speaking two languages, Swedish and English. I now live in London and I moved here five years ago to study a BA in Russian and Spanish Philology at University College London (UCL). I am a very sociable and curious person; I love traveling and meeting new people. I am passionate about language learning because I love to immerse myself in different cultures. I believe that discovering other realities can enrich my own life; it sheds light on our cultural norms, thought patterns, fears and dreams, and it makes us realise that the reality we live in is dynamic, not inevitable or unchangeable. I have experience of teaching English in Ecuador I have taught Swedish with the Nordic Society at University College London (UCL). I enjoy teaching languages primarily because of the lovely people I get to met along the way. I love sharing my passion for reading and for great films with my students. Other people's curiosities invite me to explore new fields so that I can be a bridge for them. I believe that speaking practice should be prioritised as early as possible in your learning process. Grammar and vocabulary will follow from that naturally. I am very flexible and I tailor my lessons according to my students’ needs and interests. I hope to see you soon!

It was an incredible class, so many things to learn from Emma...!!! If you want to talk about languages in depth and get a different perspective on how to learn a language or what you could do to enrich your Language experience, you should definitely schedule a class with Emma, you could talk to her just about anything. I highly recommend taking lessons with her.

När jag börjat att plugga med Emma, var jag på B1 niveaun. Efter 2 månader, försätt jag till B2 niveau. Jag älskar lektioner med Emma, det är alltid fantastiskt. Tack så mycket! Vi ses snart!
