My name is Victor Muñoz; I was born in the beautiful city of Medellin in Colombia. I also lived in the U.S where I grew up and went to school for many years. I later returned to my country and started teaching English at the age of 18, I’m now 32 and have over 10 years of experience teaching. I also went to college and worked for 6 years as an Account Executive. I’m currently working as a Senior Buyer for a Multinational company. One of my favorite things to do is travel; I’ve been to places like Dubai, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and others. I love sports, music, art, movies, cooking and more. I love teaching and helping people improve and feel confident about speaking a new language, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of every individual student. My classes are very dynamic, I do not like to focus on grammar but rather on fluency and improving conversational skills. I believe having conversations on various different subjects is the best way to learn and practice a new language. From basic simple topics about everyday life to more complex talks about business, travel and more. I like to use my experience from teaching at places like Berlitz (Dubai & Medellin), Winston Salem Academy Medellin, Universal Language Academy, etc. and put all the knowledge I gained together into my own methodology. I usually start class with a small conversation, answer any questions and doubts my students might have and provide feedback. We can then go over a list of new vocabulary words ...
