I'm Sara! I'm Italian but I moved to Mallorca four years ago. Living on an island lets me enjoy nature in my everyday life; I love reading a good book on the beach after work or riding my bike along the coast. I currently share my flat with a friend of mine even if I don't mind hosting travellers from time to time and sharing a meal with them. You should try my risotto! I got a master degree in French linguistics and literature at the Sorbonne University, in Paris. I lived there for four years and I can say I could learn a lot about the linguistic diversity and the influences from other Francophone countries. I started giving lessons after my studies but it's been two years since I opted for online teaching. It lets me get in touch with people all over the world. I usually have a chat during the first hour lesson, in order to adapt the work to the necessities of the student. Then we work on texts and audio files for improving grammar and vocabulary. At the end of the session I normally assign some homework the student will explain at the beginning of the following lesson. I also like using news articles as they show a correct and a current use of the language, besides giving a good starting point for an interesting conversation.
