I am a lifelong learner who takes every opportunity presented to me, as a learning experience. I like meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds, as this provides me with the opportunity to engage in a bit of cultural exchange, as I learn about the differences we have and similarities we share in culture. I believe that, despite being from different countries, engaging in different cultural practices, and having vastly different experiences, we all have some shared, or common interest that helps us to connect with each other. I like to consider myself as a motivator first and foremost. It is my duty to inspire those whom I have the pleasure of teaching and assisting with language goals. I am a confident, inspired, and experienced teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in dynamic environments. I like to inspire confidence in my students, as I guide them along their journey of becoming excellent communicators. My lessons are always student centered, and are designed to cater to a student's every need. The great thing about learning a language is that resources are all around us, and real life references are vast. The first step to embarking on this journey is to identify student goals, and design lessons to cater to those goals. I use a variety of visual aids to help me get points across, from flashcards to realia.
