Hello! I'm an American online English tutor from Minnesota. I graduated college with a degree in English literature and French. I spent the 2016-2017 school year teaching English at a school in Cannes, France through the Teaching Assistant Position in France (TAPIF) program. After that I moved to Paris to pursue an MBA in arts and cultural management. I spent two years studying and working in Paris. It was an incredible opportunity for me to experience life in another culture and improve my French language skills. Now that I am back in the United States I am excited to start a new path and continue my passion for languages and teaching. I am a native English speaker with one year of experience teaching English to young students and one year of tutoring experience with adults. During my time as a language assistant in Cannes, France I created lessons that aligned with the specific level of each class, I used a combination of English and French to communicate with the students, and I enjoyed my role as an ambassador for the English language and American culture. While I was there I provided individual English lessons to adults. In these lessons we focused on vocabulary, listening comprehension, and oral comprehension. I am now residing in the United States and have recently received a 40-hour TEFL/TESOL certification.
