As a teacher I am engaging and caring. I care about students' needs and I do my best in order to help students to reach their goals. I get exited every time I can successfully learn a student something new and see a development, it is very rewarding to me. My strengths are my own background as language learner since I know how one can learn a language depending on whether it is supposed to be used in social contexts or at school in more academic situations.

I have one year of experience teaching English and French on lower and upper secondary levels, which includes teaching online. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (English and French language, culture and translation) and I’m currently doing my Master’s. When it comes to my teacher persona, I am a kind, open-minded person - not at all like your worst fear of a super-reserved, cold Finn. That said, I'm still a Finn! ;) Here are the platforms that I find have the best features for teaching: Teams, Zoom, Big Blue Button I also use Discord, Jitsi meet (also instances available in China), Cisco Webex, FaceTime. PS: I also teach kids and have experience teaching young children.
