About Me

I grew up bilingual in Welsh and English, I also speak French and Polish, and I'm currently learning Basque. When I'm not learning or teaching languages, my interests include dancing, cooking and walking. I'm an experienced teacher, both in school and one to one. I taught mathematics in secondary schools for two years, and I've also given private tuition in various subjects since then. I'm also a qualified Welsh/English translator. I speak Welsh as it's spoken in North Wales, and whether you've just started learning Welsh or are ready for a new challenge, I'm keen to help you on your way. As for my English lessons, I'm a native speaker of British English, and a confident communicator in various professional settings. Learning languages as an adult has shown me the importance of independant study and one to one lessons. My aim is always to adapt the lessons to your needs as a learner, making sure you get enough support and practice for the specific skills you want to develop. I can apply my recent experience of learning other languages to offer you guidance on the most efficient learning methods.

Robin was very friendly and helpful. I did have some trouble hearing everything he said as the sound quality was a bit muffled. But that could have been a fault at my end.
