About Me

I love geography, travelling and language learning. I am here for the great pleasure I have when I share my knowledge and speaking skills. I am a teacher of Esperanto, teaching online since 2006. I have a KER-ekzameno certification as well as Russian Esperanto Union certificate for teaching Esperanto. I also teach offline in my home city St. Petersburg and sometimes for international public at Esperanto-events (kursoj por progresantoj). Russian is my native language. I have also studied Linguistics and Journalism at the St. Petersburg State University. I learn two Slavic languages — Polish and Bulgarian — and that gives me lots of insights on my own language and how I can explain it better to my students. In my lessons I pay most attention to the speaking practice. During the lesson I will note your frequent grammatical errors and suggest right phrases for practice, not just point out the mistake. very good, I could feel my brain starting to hear Russian, a great thing for a complete beginner! We practiced using present tense conjugations for the verbs that I know and worked a little on cases.

His awesome fluency and ability to express nuances of meaning is very impressive. I really want to immerse myself in this type of conversation. I regret that I did not record his speaking so that I could go over it again - one day I will find out how (with permission of the teacher, of course). Esperanto is really a miraculous "pensoinstrumento" and Vaĉjeslav is a bottomless treasure trove.
