I'm an American living in Northern India since 2010 who recently shifted to Nepal, and I've been teaching English since 2012. Previously, in NYC, I was an IT/Web project manager but I left all of that to reinvent myself when I moved to India to pursue creative writing and other interests. My writing led to a closer study of English, which led me to teaching. I love music and culture, food, art, philosophy, science and well, all kinds of things really. I have degrees or certificates in things like Environmental Science, TEFL, music, design, and project management. I'm a good conversationalist, so you can rely on me to keep things flowing during lessons. As an ESL teacher (I have certification with TEFL) I was stunned to learn that something like 95% of students fail to reach even marginal fluency. To me that means there is something seriously wrong with the way students are being taught. I set out to discover the roots of this problem and I've discovered that there are several reasons. I've developed a method to help, but I also just teach conversational English if you prefer that. I will teach you how to use your brain's natural language ability to rapidly increase your fluency, without needing to remember complex grammar rules or translate. I will show you how English works with simple, easy to understand and well integrated concepts.
