Hello Everyone! I'm Amarachi but you can call me Amy for short. I was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Nigeria but I now live and study in Hungary. I really love to travel and living in Hungary has provided me with many opportunities to do so. I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and learning about different cultures. For me, it's very interesting to see the similarities and differences between people of different countries. I'm quite easy-going and open to discussing a wide variety of topics. Being from Nigeria where English is the official language, I've spoken English from birth. In addition to being a native speaker, I have a clear accent which makes me easy to understand. Living in a country where my native language isn't spoken I've seen that the best way to quickly improve your speaking skills is by practicing regularly with a native speaker. I decided to start giving English lessons when I saw that there was a demand for native/ near-native English speakers in Hungary. I have over 3 years of experience working with people of all ages & nationalities both online & in person. In the last year, I've helped students prepare for the IELTS exam with positive results. As the goal of learning English varies from person to person, my lessons are tailored to meet individual student's needs.
