About Me

Hi! My name's Tom, I'm from the UK, and I'm excited to be able to offer you conversation practice here on Italki! I have over a year's experience of teaching learners of all levels, and I hold a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds, UK. Learning a new language can be daunting and scary, and as a learner you may often feel overwhelmed when using your new language. As someone who has lived abroad for 2 years, in Santiago, Chile, I know exactly how it feels to be a language learner who feels unsure about using their second language, and may lack confidence in speaking situations. I’m here to help you gain confidence in your use of spoken English, and can help you with grammar and conversation practice. I can offer conversation practice or speaking exercises on any topic of your choice, to suit your needs and requirements.

The classwork well, but we have less time, just 30 minutes. We talked about my life here in Portugal e and the process to change to here. I read a text and her correct me in my challenges and we make a bit exercise about the text. Thanks for the lesson and the help!
