About Me

I was born and grew up in Russia. Foreign languages are my profession and my passion. I like to travel and meet new people. My native language is Russian. I graduated Pedagogical University in Siberia and got a diploma of a teacher of German and PhD in pedagogy. I have been teaching German at university for many years and I have the experience of teaching from zero to advanced level. On italki I have been teaching for more than 1 year. I am lucky to have the amazing students which are passionate about German and motivated to learn. And I learn from my students as well! Every person has his or her own track, pace and capacity and I would like to support everyone on this journey. Learning is a creative process and it is always a two-way street. As a teacher, I am trying to replicate the life situations to prepare you for the real ones. Fluent speaking is a core language competence, which is based on the grammar, significant vocabulary and knowing the culture. I will be glad to improve your pronunciation, enhance the vocabulary and develop the speaking skills based on the special exercises. I will propose you describe the pictures, share your ideas and discuss the articles, books and videos. On advanced level we will focus on meaning of words, complex grammar and will speak a lot! I am happy to help other people in their language practice. Welcome to my classes!
