About Me

Hi, I'm Dameon, or you can call me Day. I have been teaching for about eight years and have lots of experience teaching all aspects of English Language, such as grammar, conversation, business English and IELTS. I am confident and have a kind and patient style of teaching. I am passionate, and I'm sure that if you want to improve, then I am the teacher for you. For the last three years, I have been teaching IELTS, I'm very familiar with this test, and I'm sure I would be able to help you improve your band score. I love teaching, I have 8 years teaching experience in Thailand, teaching English as a second language (ESL) to a wide range of students from Elementary level right through to PhD Students. I kind of fell into teaching when I came to live here in Thailand, I was asked to help at the local school teaching conversation skills to the local students. I really enjoyed this and wanted to do more, I got the teaching bug! I applied for a TEFL/TESOL course and on completion started teaching at a high school, after a few years I went freelance and started to teach at Universities all over South-east Asia. I have a kind and patient style of teaching and love to help and explain. I understand grammar and I’m able to teach and give examples and rules. I am also very familiar with IELTS and have helped many students to improve their English skills to be able to pass this test.
