About Me

I enjoy working with students from all parts of the world who have different stories and experiences. Communicating with people from different cultures and nationalities is one of my favourite things to do! I also like visiting museums and art galleries, eating and experiencing new types of food and reading interesting books, blogs and magazines. As well as being an English language teacher I’m also a visual artist and make sculpture and prints. I am an enthusiastic and creative teacher. I have been teaching English for three years and before this, I worked in arts education at universities in the U.K. I was awarded a Cambridge CELTA certificate and have taught in schools, businesses, and one-to-one with learners. I now live in Mexico City and this experience has definitely helped me as a teacher. I now know the challenges and difficulties of learning a new language first hand and this helps me relate to learners in a more meaningful way. All learners are different so getting to know each other is important. Once I know your needs and goals I can create useful and interesting classes for you. I am a friendly person and you will feel comfortable in my classes. Practice is really important and I will send you articles, videos, exercises and podcasts so that you are immersed and motivated on a daily basis.
