CELTA teacher +10yrs exp, certified to teach English to children and adults for general and specific purposes. I'm also a qualified Sociologist and am completing my PhD in the Sociology of Work. In this regard, I lecture undergraduates. I teach English levels A1 to C1, preparation for examinations and English for specific purposes such as academic, and professional English. I also consultant to industry having developed curricula, training, monitoring and evaluations for the aviation, military and security sectors. I am a published sociologist, mother, wife and daughter. For the last ten years I have been living in South Africa, a country from which I emigrated to the United Kingdom at a young age. After completing my education in England, I migrated to Spain where I taught English for ten years. Currently, I am completing my doctoral dissertation in sociology on unpaid work in low-income households, with farm-working women in the deciduous fruit sector of South Africa as case study, Social Reproduction as theory and employing a mixed-methods approach. At the end of class we set the content and format of our next lesson. Anne is a nice and knowledgable person. Her lessons are really informative because she introduced a lot of high-level words and expressions. Also, her husband is quite nice. Recommend for those people who want to upgrade their expressions or who want to practise some social sciences related topics (In IELTS exams, celebration/culture/families and relationships/educaction are quite common topics in speaking section part 3).
