About Me
italki teacher since Mar 6, 2020
I closely monitor my students' progress, and I do it by setting little milestones. To maintain the quality of the lessons, I only give a maximum of six classes a day. Once a certain day already has six scheduled lessons, I close the remaining time slots.
Although I've been using three languages since I was a kid, I didn't realize how difficult it is to learn a language until I decided to start learning Spanish as an adult. Learning a language as an adult made me a better teacher, someone who can truly understand my students' challenges and frustrations.
I'm always learning new ways to teach, tweaking my strategies to best meet the unique needs of each learner. I understand language acquisition is a life-long process, and I always make sure to make each lesson count.
The lessons I offer include but are not limited to:
- Conversation Practice
- IELTS (Speaking and Writing Parts)
- Interview Practice (Job, Visa, and University Admission)
- Writing
- Clear Speech Training
- Grammar
- Vocabulary Building
My teaching style depends on the learner's goal, level, and learning style. Also, it is not constant; it changes over time as the learner progresses.
Language learning can be overwhelming, so I love setting milestones. Milestones help students realize how far they've come.
