Hi everyone!
I love getting to know new people and learning about different cultures! This is one of the reasons I became a teacher, to share my experience and knowledge with people who are looking to broaden their horizons and learn a new language in a fun and friendly way.
As stated in my introduction video, I am a TEFL certified ESL English teacher. I have five years experience teaching English as a second language to people of all ages.
As well as five years experience, I created and designed the full English language curriculum currently used in the Globe Elementary Private school in Wuhan, China. Creating and deigning the curriculum allowed me to learn so much about the different teaching styles and techniques which I now use in my own classes.
I believe in using many forms of media in my lessons to allow for more creative learning. Videos, PPTs, songs, flashcards- whatever your interest, I'm confident I can find the best way to help you learn with ease.
In my classes, I love discussing and chatting about all sorts of fun and interesting topics. Through talking about the things we enjoy, we can work on improving our sentence structure and conversational skills and have fun while doing it!
Allowing my students to choose the things they want to learn about helps me to create a fun, interesting, and insightful curriculum, based on their individual needs.
