About Me

I´m Giovanna, I´m Italian and I have a strong passion for languages, travelling and teaching. As a child, I fell in love with the German language. Therefore, after finishing high school, I decided to move to Germany where I have lived, studied and worked for eight years. However, my passion for travelling has driven me also to work and live in other countries, giving me the chance to learn new languages and improve my language skills. I love languages because I see them as a key to open the doors of new cultures and countries and truly understand them and their people. I also really enjoy reading, cooking, dancing, listening to podcasts and travelling through Africa, a country I love. I started teaching Italian as a foreign language in 2009 while I was living in Germany and now that I´m back in Italy, I also teach German. I have been teaching adults, students, children, migrants, and employees working as a freelance teacher and for private language schools. Knowing different languages and teaching very diverse target groups has helped me to better understand the difficulties of each and every one of my students. As a result, my lessons are perfectly tailored to your personal needs. For me as a teacher, every lesson is a new challenge that I face with all my passion, enthusiasm and creativity in order to motivate you the most and to share my love for the language with you. My teaching method is to create very diverse and exciting lessons as a response to your specific needs...

It's so easy to speak with Giovanna. She's a great tutor with a very friendly and pleasing manner. Her helpful corrections are never intrusive and make the lesson enjoyable.
