My name is Simone Davids. My children are millennials and I learn a lot from them. I am a proud South African citizen. Teaching is my passion for the last 26 years. My environment was forever changing since I was born. I can speak 3 languages. I started learning Afrikaans and English since the age of 6 years old. I started German at the age of 10. My hobbies are reading, music, and traveling to the Far East I have been traveling to Thailand eight times and could never get enough. Teaching is my passion. My Motto - LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher. My last qualification is an Honours Bachelor of Education in Education management. I have 26 years of teaching experience. My core responsibilities are teaching learners who have learning challenges in math, English, and Afrikaans. The students are from 5 to 10 years old. The progress of every student as an individual is vital as each one is unique and special in their own way. My learners are diverse on every level. My approach as a teacher is a value-based approach that includes diversity. I teach English as a foreign language to our foreign learners. I have learned to have patience with my students. My lessons are based on the student's level. The lesson would include an introduction, the lesson, practicing the new skill and a short assessment to see if the student understood the lesson.
