Hello! My name is Naomi. I am an energetic, friendly and qualified native American teacher from Chicago, Illinois - USA. I have traveled and have lived in various parts of the world including South America, North Africa and the UK. I am currently living in Manchester, England. I love languages! I enjoy learning new languages to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I currently speak (Brazilian) Portuguese and Arabic. Currently, I am developing my Portuguese knowledge because I would like to became a licensed translator. So I understand the challenges people face when learning a new language and I can help you to overcome those. I have 7 years experience teaching English to adults and children in the classroom and I really enjoy it. I work primarily with Beginner and Intermediate learners (A1 - B2+) but I am able to teach all learners. Even though I am new to online teaching, however, I am really excited about the challenge and in helping students to grow in their confidence and fluency and abilities in the language. I am CELTA certified. As a language learner myself (Portuguese), I know and understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language and am here to help. My lessons will be dynamic and entertaining, making sure students can keep up with the content I am teaching while enjoying the class. Most of my lessons focus on speaking, reading and listening.
