I live in Christchurch, New Zealand, which is a comfortable and beautiful city. I like people. My first degree was in psychology, and I have maintained a keen interest in psychology throughout my life. In my free time I like to do physical activities: running, swimming, tennis etc. The country I usually live in when I'm not in New Zealand is Japan, so in my free time I also like to study or practice Japanese. I am a very experienced teacher with 20 years of experience. I teach English because I love teaching English. I have a strong interest in collecting and creating excellent teaching materials and methods. Because I spend so much time communicating with people from other countries and living in other countries, my accent has become quite nuetral. I think it is very important that lessons be enjoyable, because if they are not enjoyable, the student will have trouble learning. However, I also think that it is very important that students continue to work on building their vocabulary. There is a limited amount of grammar in English but, for high level listening comprehension, you need to know a lot of vocabulary. I have collected and developed a lot of resources for helping students to increase and practice their vocabulary.

Sean is wonderful, he has experience in particular how to guide kids. He can let the child be interested in his problems, and then follow him to think and express himself more deeply which is really nice. We all like his class very much and recommend it with five stars.

We have a conversation lesson. Mainly we focus on my speaking skills. We were talking e.g. about our hobbies, customs in my region. Later, Sean paid attention to my mistakes and gave me tips to be better at English speaking.
