I’m fortunate to have lived in 4 countries and visited over 30. I. I’ve always been a curious person and like to explore new cultures and perspectives. I like nothing better than foraging for wild mushrooms in the woods and hiking the great outdoors. I’m an avid reader my whole life and passionate about literature. I’ve played and coached football at the top level but now enjoy being a spectator. I wouldn’t want to live in a world without music and will always enjoy dancing. I’ve many varied interests and hobbies ranging across entrepreneurship, marketing, social psychology, anthropology to hiking, biking, swimming and playing chess. I’m a Cambridge/CELTA qualified professional native English teacher with over 2 years experience in the classroom environment. I began teaching in International House Dublin which is part of the IH network spanning 52 countries with over 160 language centres. I’ve been teaching in a public school and private language centre in Hanoi since February 2019. I’ve taught General, Academic and Business English to students from all over the world. I teach Business English focusing on specific skills such as meetings, presentations, interview skills and vocabulary of Business. I’m a graduate of Ireland’s foremost university Trinity College Dublin which is a sister college of Oxford and Cambridge universities in England. I hold BSc(Hons) and MA degrees in Business & Information Technology. I also hold an MII Diploma in Marketing. I won a Phd scholarship (Health Sciences) in 2018 but decided not to accept. I’ve spent 4 years doing post grad research in Anthropology exploring themes around narratives of mental health.

I liked the trial lesson. Tom uses his time really well, in 30 minutes he managed to give me a feedback, to asses my level, have a little conversation and show me his way of teaching. I liked his approach.
