About Me

Hi! My name is Marc and I have been a teacher for the past 10 years working in private schools and International schools in Thailand. I am now very excited to be an online teacher and meet many new people from all over the world. I am 35 years old and I have a beautiful wife and 2 children. I am passionate about sports, especially running, swimming and cycling. I enjoy watching movies in my free time and discovering new delicious food from all over the world. I grew up in Switzerland but I am originally from the Netherlands. I went to an international school as a child and did all my education at University level in English as well. I am therefore fluent and teach in 3 languages. As a teacher I always set the goal to teach at international school level with the highest expectation while keeping a fun, proactive and interactive teaching and learning approach. My language skills and understanding of how to learn a new language ensures that students always understand my pronunciation whilst remaining focused on the tasks at hand. I am an energetic and fun teacher but I make sure to always implement the best teaching methods to aim at the highest results.

Marc is great! He had a plan prepared for our first lesson, something I have not seen with other teachers/tutors, so I really enjoyed our class. I think his teaching style is effective as it very much focuses on improving pronunciation and comprehension. He is super friendly and easy to talk to so I felt very comfortable with him. I am definitely going to book (many) more classes with him. Highly recommended!

Marc is an excellent teacher and was extremely well prepared. The lesson was very enjoyable which made the hour go by very quickly. He is a very experienced teacher, and it shows. I was comfortable asking all of my questions. He is very personable, and I can't wait until our next lesson. He speaks English, French, and Dutch very clearly. Marc, je bent de man!
