From Fukuoka, living in Singapore. Love playing volleyball and cooking (and eating, of course!). Born and raised in Japan, spent most of the years in Kyushu island & Okinawa (aka the best part of Japan ;)). Went to an international university in Oita prefecture where I obtained my bachelor. Subsequently I finished my training course for teaching Japanese language and moved to Singapore. Have experience of teaching at the biggest Japanese language school in Singapore for nearly 3 years. In charge of classes from beginners to advanced level both group lessons and 1-on-1, as well as JLPT preparation courses for N5 & N4. Managed classes with different nationalities with various mother tongue language speakers by using direct method (meaning teaching Japanese in Japanese, strict but super effective!). I am more familiar with the Minna no Nihongo (みんなのにほんご) textbook, but happy to accommodate with your preference. The more you specific you are about your motivation and goal for learning Japanese, the better I am able to assist you and design the classes. Our lesson felt well prepared and suitable for my absolute beginner level, but allowed for us to get to know each other as well. We practiced conversational phrases and introductions, as well as some hiragana. Shino-sensei has a very clear and warm approach to teaching and made me feel very comfortable and motivated during our lesson. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn Japanese! ありがとうございます! :)
