About Me

italki teacher since May 13, 2020

I am enthusiastic and want to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere. I aim in implementing innovative methods to motivate students to learn the English language. I have a neutral accent and speak English at a native level. I am certified in TEFL/TESOL and a BSc degree holder. I am also a mother of two, which has taught me how to keep children engaged and how to teach through play. I have previous work experience with adult medical professionals in facilitation and examinations in their clinical field. I come alive when working with people. I know we learn faster and effortlessly when having fun and playing. So my main objective is to make sure you reach your goals while having fun! I think it is important to first establish your student(s) needs and environment. Basing lessons on their familiar framework can ease the integration of new material. I believe in the methodology of presentation, practice and production. Frequently asking questions to establish whether students understand the material and guiding me as a teacher towards the areas that still need some attention.
