Hello! My name Charlotte and I am a college student. I am French-American and was born and raised in New York, NY. I speak English, French, and Spanish and hope to learn more languages myself like Arabic, Italian, and German! Being a college student myself, I recognize the stress that learning can produce, so I hope to make it a very enjoyable and inspiring experience. Having grown up in a multilingual household, I recognize my privilege as well as the advantage that speaking more than one language can offer you. I also feel strongly that if learning new languages is a great way to make the world feel a little smaller! I have done volunteer work in Lesvos, Greece, teaching elementary English and French to Middle Eastern and North African refugees during the past two summers. I taught group sessions as well as one-on-one. While the majority of my teaching and tutoring experience has been mostly centered around the elementary and intermediate levels, I believe that I can lend myself to helping students with more writing experience as well. I love to teach and have fun with students! I, being a student myself, believe that people learn best when they are at ease, so I enjoy developing a more casual relationship with the people I teach.
