Hello! I’m JU HyunMin. I was born and raised in Busan, Korea and I am 100 % Korean! Currently, I am living in Madrid, Spain At first, I started to learn a new language such as Spanish and English for fun, but after learning a lot I wanted to work overseas. Finally, my dream came true after studying very hard. I got the opportunity to work in New Zealand and Singapore. Do you have any dream with Korean as well? Such as watching K-drama without subtitle or making Korean friends or working in Korea! Whatever your dream is, I hope to have it come true as your language partner! I have organized and participate in a language meet-up in Korea, which is called 'Language Cast Busan'. The participants were from all over the world. Most of them were interested in learning Korean. As an organizer and participant, I used to help the people in answering their questions regarding Korean. While learning languages I realized that having a conversation was the most important thing when it comes to improving your language. We are able to learn from books and classes, but sometimes we are likely to concentrate too much on memorizing a lot of information. This is not always effective. Besides learning from books and classes it is also necessary to practice speaking and having conversations with native speakers. I will try my best to get my class more practical because I think even if the class is short, students should be able to use what they have learned in real life.
