I obtained my Master's degree in English teaching in 2012 in Budapest, Hungary, and teaching English has been part of my life ever since! Over the years I was giving one-on-one lessons in my free time to help others reach their language learning goals, and I spent two months in Vietnam teaching in several different language schools. Last year I worked in Hungary, both in a public school and at a private language school, teaching teenagers and adults. I have been a teacher for more than 3 years. in the beginning, like most novice teachers, I couldn't find the balance. I used to drown my students in freer practice because that's how I had learned the language myself. little by little I realized controlled practices aren't all that useless if we direct them properly. However, my experience with international students has taught me that there is a limit to objectivity and impersonal curiosity. Language learning cannot take place unless connection is made and that, was where I had to practice the art of task-design in order to integrate cultural, societal and personal elements.

Compared with teaching in a classroom setting, I prefer to teach in a casual way that allows students to use the language naturally. Experiential learning can be an efficient method. As a new graduate from the university, I have limited experience in teaching. However, I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degrees. I believe that I will become a good teacher, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students confortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated as a teacher.

I believe learning should be fun.
