Almost five years now, and perhaps 6000 hours of online teaching. I make liberal use of online materials, and I like englishclub.com, ABC Radio National, TED Wolfram Coursera EDX, and recently linguapress.com. My sessions are particularly free and subject to your wishes, needs and goals. I am equally happy to chit-chat, or address deep and troubling issues, to delve into science grammar technology. There is no set agenda, but I expect us to set up a basis for the coming sessions. Intermediate to advanced students only please.

With my passion and knowledge, I can surely help you to improve your skills in Mandarin. I have two-year experience in language teaching, ESOL, IELTS, and Mandarin. Compared with teaching in a classroom setting, I prefer to teach in a casual way that allows students to use the language naturally. Experiential learning can be an efficient method. Practise is the key to master a language. To practice with a language companion with the knowledge in English and Mandarin, like me, can be really beneficial for you.

I have been teaching for a while now and the experience has been amazing. I enjoy interacting with people from different parts of the work. Teaching gives me a chance to travel and learn about different cultures and that motivates me to be great at it.

As a new graduate from the university, I have limited experience in teaching. However, I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degrees. I believe that I will become a good teacher, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students confortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated as a teacher.

In my college B.A studies, I studied a wide range of topics related to the English language, including but not limited to : listening and written comprehension, conversation, English & American literature, creative writing & poetry, academic writing, letter writing, journalistic English, business & office English, linguistics, phonology & pronunciation, grammar & syntax etc. I also completed a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, and I have 4 months of experience (it's not much, I'll give you that, but better than nothing) teaching English to kids and teenagers at a private language school. I have experience in teaching English live, as a volunteer in a centre in the Chilean Patagonia. I have also taught since March 2020 as a freelancer to young people from around the world through Skype, as well as locals from Piatra Neamt in person.
