I try to see myself as teacher and an artist, I have a strong background in education with over a decade of experience teaching people in many different forms: traditional classroom (French and Theatre classes in the US public Education System), yoga studios, artistic workshops, academia, and online. I bring all the skills I have honed in my life into my teaching to help my students succeed and to create interesting and dynamic lessons to help language learners interact with language in new and playful ways.

I got a certification in Education (C.A.P) specialised in teaching languages, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. I also got a certification in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Cálamo & Cran, Barcelona, in 2009. My experience in teaching in France, Spain and Ireland has allowed me to improve my language skills, as well as to increase my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments. I have been teaching at High Schools in France, as a language instructor for companies in Barcelona and Paris, and in private lessons during my years in these countries. I love teaching and am really interested in foreign cultures.

I am a native level French and English speaker, and an experienced French teacher as well as a Cambridge certified teacher of English as a foreign language. I've been teaching languages since 2012. Auparavant, j’ai donné des cours particuliers d’anglais à des collégiens en France pendant mes études. Cela fait longtemps que je voulais en donner de nouveau, mais je n’ai jamais pris le temps avec ma situation de backpacker. L’avantage des cours en ligne, c’est que l’on peut donner des cours de partout sans que mes voyages me stop. Je n’y avais pas vraiment pensé avant pour être honnête.

I teach all levels of French and English. My focus is building and improving upon conversational skills through regular conversation. My lessons are 30 minutes to an hour. The first lesson will be about establishing your current level of fluency and determining your goals as it relates to your conversational skills in the language of study.

They say I'm a very patient teacher. I try to always do my best to make feel my students comfortable and at ease while learning a new language. Indeed for some students learning a new language can be a struggle , sometimes they can be afraid to speak and to express themselves in another language. Building a good rapport is key to the learning process for both students and teacher so I try my best to do that. I believe learning a language to be more of developing a skill and as such it need a lot of practice and experimentation. So I hope to install in my students the interest in playing with the language.

My classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I do my best to make them as fun and interactive as possible :) The most important for me is that my students can gain confidence in their speaking skills. My teaching approach is based on multimedia resources such as videos, songs, images and audio files. During our first interview, I will test your level to provide you with pedagogical materials adapted to your needs. I also work as a DELF test examiner.
