Hello everybodyI have been teaching Greek at a professional level for five years now! I have also been teaching English since 2005 with great pleasure! Whoever wants to learn or improve their Greek/English language skills, just contact me!

I would describe myself as a professional, in the same time funny and supportive teacher. My goal is that the students feel comfortable with me, so that they don't hesitate to ask anything. I learnt languages as a foreigner as well, and I know exactly how to transfer this knowledge to others.

I love languages. I speak German, Greek and English fluently. German is my mother language.I studied English for 9 years in school and I learned the Greek language in Greece where I live since 14 years. I also made my small latinum when I was making my university entrance exams. After that I worked as a tutor with pupils that needed help in school. I studies languages and math together with them. I really enjoy working with languages and people.

I'm a relaxed and upbeat person in general, so you can definitely expect that in our lessons as well. I believe that every teacher should try to motivate their students as much as possible, and that teachers should also respect the students' wishes. An effective teacher begins with a solid relationship with the student. It's not only about teaching, but it's about connecting with the student on a level that feels comfortable for them!

In the past, I have been teaching one to one lessons in Mathematics and Business English and today, Italki sets the ground for me to extend my tutoring skills even further, by offering lessons in Greek and English - happy days! One of my favourite quotes comes from Albert Einstein who said that "The measure of intelligence is the ability to change". Based on that, my teaching approach will be fully flexible and will depend solely on how seriously you will be taking your studies. Please note that I do not have any experience in teaching children. My name is Olga and I am a qualified teacher of English, Russian and Greek with a degree from Athens University and Gorlovka teachers' training institute of foreign languages (Ukraine). I started teaching just after my graduation in 2001, first as an English language instructor at the Mining University of Ukraine. After I moved to Greece and continued my career and studies. I worked as an interpreter as well mostly in shipping business. At the moment I am a student myself at the Institute of Chartered shipbrokers, London trying to obtain a professional qualification in this field.

I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life. I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. If I can have a positive impact on their future, I feel I am doing my job well. I am an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally and I have a strong ability to plan and organise effectively; something which is crucial to the role of a competent teacher. I cope very well with pressure and can adapt my style or teaching methods, when needed, to deliver consistent results.
