Learn Japanese with private Japanese teachers

I often taught Japanese to co-workers when I lived in the USA and Australia. Though I have no experience as a job, I will try my best for your improvement :)

I used to work part-time at a school, so I am used to teaching. In addition, I am more likely to feel like a student because I myself have been online.

I am a certified Japanese teacher. I am currently working at a language school. I teach classes from beginner to upper intermediate levels. Classes are conducted in Japanese only, so I try hard to make sure that they are easy to understand. I used to teach JLPT preparation classes. My students started as beginners, but this year some of them passed college entrance exams, which made me really happy. Let me help you with your studies. I'm teaching Japanese more than 13 years and more than 2000 people. I've taught in Russia, Romania, Egypt, Kyoto and Osaka in Japan. But I want to support more and more people all over the world.

Although I have never formally trained in teaching language, I have voluntarily taught Japanese for many years. I’ve attended to language exchange lessons in Toronto and New York and taught Japanese to people from all over the world (e.g. American, Canadian, Russian, Polish, German, Chinese, Korean, Indian etc.) from very beginners to fluent people. I made close friends who learn Japanese and we always asked and taught each other when I was studying English. One of my best friends is an American and he still asks me about the Japanese language even after he moved to Japan.

First, we can have a small conversation to see what your focus is in learning Japanese. Then I can help you improve your skills in the areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening depending on your needs and goal of taking the Japanese lessons with me. I understand how it feels to speak a foreign language as a beginner. It is certainly challenging and nerve-racking, but there is no reason to get nervous when you are speaking with me! My motto is to make my lessons as fun as possible ;) We can practice phrases from your favorite anime or Japanese drama, or we can even talk about the Japanese comedy in our lessons too! I look forward to getting to know you in our lessons!

My learning philosophy in five points: ○ We must learn to listen before we can learn to speak. ○ To learn something, we must notice it ourselves. ○ Exposure to comprehensible input gives us the chance to notice. ○ Learning a language is discovering a new culture - we must try and embody it. ○ If you can’t do all your learning during your commute, it ain’t happening :)

I was studing tourism and Japanese for foreigner in university. I taught to adults as a volunteer then. When I lived in Brazil , I was working in Japanese school. My main students were 5 years old to senior high school student. 大学で観光学と日本語の先生になる勉強をしていました。 そのとき、日本語の先生のボランティアもしていました。 それから、ブラジルの日本語学校で働いてました。 ５歳から高校生に教えていました。

私はこれまで中国語と英語を勉強してきました。語学学校に通ったり、オンラインレッスンを受けたりしました。その際に自分の母語である日本語をもっと理解したいと思い、日本語教師養成420時間講座を受講しました。自分の語学学習の経験を生かして、日本語学習者の皆さんと一緒にレッスンできる日を楽しみにしています！ I was learning Chinese and English at language school and online lesson. I became a Japanese teacher around 2010 after spending several years working hard towards earning my JLPT level 3; some years later, as an experiment, I decided to try applying what I had learnt about teaching and motivation in Spanish and acquired a diploma by the Cervantes Institute for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

My classes are very casual and relaxed! I hope I can help you learn something new. There is one thing I want from you when you come to my classes - the purpose! Why do you want to learn Japanese? What is your goal? I will do my very best to archive that goal together and we will have fun!

I was staying with my host family on homestay when I was in Austria and New Zealand. I had joined Japanese class at high school. It was really fun and precious experiences for me and it became my feeling to try teaching Japanese on italki.

I am patient and flexible. I have taught students from children to adults and from complete beginners to advanced students. As a teacher, I find it important to listen to the student and find out what their needs and wishes are and plan the lesson accordingly. I will listen to your suggestions and customize and adapt my lessons to meet your individual needs.

I am perfectly fluent in both Japanese and English, so I will be able to communicate effectively and provide the most accurate teaching possible. I learned English when I was 7, and have been living in England for the past 10 years. I have been teaching immersion-style "kazagruma" Japanese classes since 2009, where we speak Japanese 100% of the time. In my online classes.I am available only for intermediate and advanced students. 中級以上の日本語クラスです。
