Writing has always been one of my passions because the ability to express oneself through words has such an impact on the reality that one creates. During my years in university I excelled in all my English classes. I was chosen to be a teacher’s assistant for ESL classes, and I worked in the English Lab alongside English professors to edit and revise student essays. I recently obtained a TEFOL and have received several offers to teach at International Schools around the planet. On my free time, I compose poems and transpose fluid thoughts into writing as a way to release feelings and emotions.

I specialize in spoken English. I focus on three important elements: pronunciation, fluency, and intonation. This is not a hobby. It is my full time job and passion. I have been teaching in a business setting for more than 25 years. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching phonics - the proper "sound" of English - to adults and children for whom English is a second language. A few years ago I was teaching English to mostly kids while working Spain, but then I decided to go travelling around the world teaching adults working professionals using Skype, so that I could make more use of my engineering degree and combine it with English teaching. I was motivated to start teaching English this way because of the amount of knowledge of different cultures and industries/professions that I was able to gain from teaching these lessons. I also like to study language/linguistics etc so that I can use effective methods to help students reach a higher level of fluency with real, solid methods that work.

Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. For me every lesson is my personal promise to give my best attitude, energy and knowledge to every single student. Throughout years of study I tested on my own skin various approaches to language learning and developed natural, informal and very communicative approach to teaching. I received TEFL certification from The Boston Language Institute. The program was an in-person 120-hour program that included supervised teaching of actual ESL classes. During the course, the instructors regularly told me that I should specialize in Business English. Since leaving Boston Language Institute, I have taught at language schools, privately tutored, and also worked as a high school English and World Studies teacher.
