I am a Brazilian currently living in Colombia. I chose to live in a warm city because I really enjoy sunny days and smiley people. When I am not teaching or translating, I practice yoga and meditation. I also enjoy handcrafting and reading a lot. I am really fond of Brazilian and Russian Literature. Big fan of series and movies, I have some favorite directors, such as Almodovar, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and more. I guess the movie of my life is "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain". In my personal life, I am a vegetarian who likes to cook nice dishes and share with my friends. Languages are my true passion and they make my life move. That is why I decided to be a translator and later became a teacher. Being able to connect different people and their culture is something really special for me. My motivation to be in class every day is the opportunity of showing my students the richness and diversity of Brazilian culture as well as guiding them in the discovery of new words, sounds, tastes, and perspectives. Learning a foreign language makes our worlds bigger and if you give me the chance to expand the limits of yours, I gladly will. My objective is to achieve your goals, so I tailor the classes to attend your needs. I have 4 years of experience in teaching Portuguese for students of all level and goals - traveling, studies, business, to name a few. Fabrízia is always prepared with engaging, practical lessons, and she builds personalized material based on my learning goals. She is a kind, patient, and creative teacher; our lessons are always enjoyable and entertaining! She really takes the time to understand why you want to learn the language and incorporates it into her teaching. It's so helpful that she knows both Spanish and Portuguese! I studied Spanish so when I started learning Portuguese I was mixing everything up. She has lots of experience teaching Portuguese to native Spanish speakers, so she's expert at noticing when I accidentally use Spanish words or grammar. Fabrízia also understands the importance of culture in language learning. She designs lessons that incorporate cultural context, which helps you internalize language in a real way (beyond vocab and grammar) - you really get to know the place/people who speak the language. I would highly recommend Fabrízia to learners of all levels and learning objectives!

I have already taken several lessons with Fabrízia and they were great! She is an apt teacher who knows a lot about pedagogy and language. So far, the lessons are diverse and have a great balance of teaching styles, which makes lessons engaging. At my request, she assigns helpful homework assignments which reinforce the course content. Not to mention, she is relaxed, flexible, and super easy to talk to. Obrigada, Fabrízia!

Acabaram de publicar os resultados do CELP BRAS hoje e recebi AVANÇADO SUPERIOR. C2! Meu Deus. Se não fosse por Fabrízia, não teria conseguido esse resultado!

 Se vocês quiserem tirar uma boa nota no CELP BRAS, Fabrízia pode ajudar. Ela é simpática e muito profissional mas, além disso, ela sabe que coisa é que têm que fazer para obter mais pontos na prova.
