Hello! My name is David. I am a professional English teacher. I have my B.A. in English education and my Master's degree in Literacy K-12. I enjoy reading, gardening, and exercising. I also love pets. I have two cats and one dog! I currently live in New York State about one hour from Niagara Falls. I have been teaching English for 7 years. I have also tutored English language learners online for about a year. I currently teach high school English and would love to have the chance to practice English with you. You can practice conversational skills or we can move about the language at a more rigid pace. I cannot say I have one way of teaching. I am keen on different learning styles whether that be practice exam questions or just talking about what interests you. I hope to talk about that with you in the trial lesson. Overall, I think sustained conversation is best. Conversational classes will end with a review about some points we talked about and also what I think you could work on in the future. Being a classroom teacher, I am also open to more traditional methods of learning like grammar exercises and using homework as an extension of learning. I also have practice books that we can work through together if you prefer a more traditional method of learning, or we can select texts of your interest. No matter what type of learner you are or where you are in your English language journey, I will make this process work for you. *Skype/Zoom preferred*
