Hi! My name is Thu Phương, I’m 23 years old and I'm from Vietnam. Learning languages has always been something I'm so interested in and probably what I'm best at. Italki is an interesting educational community in which I hope to contribute my part as a language teacher to support those who are eager to learn new languages like me. Also, it would be great to get to know different cultures and people from around the world. I am a CELTA qualified teacher with an 8.0 overall in IELTS (Speaking 8.0, Reading 8.5 and Listening 8.5) and I have been tutoring teenagers and adults to improve their speaking, pronunciation and listening skills. Before booking a lesson with me, please send me a message describing yourself, your level in English or Vietnamese as well as your goals in learning these two languages. I want to make sure that I am the person you need and will try my best to meet your requirements. My time is pretty flexible and I'm not a strict person. My students find my teaching quite enjoyable because I want to create a comfortable atmosphere within the class and I try not to bring a lot of theories into lessons because I find it rather boring and hard for students to remember.

Best Vietnamese teacher ever. I love to have lesson with her because she always makes my day. Not to mention about how positive and supportive she is, she also cheers you up when you had trouble learning Vietnamese. We had lesson of numbers and short role play. I really had great time with her.

Phuong is an excellent teacher. One of the major benefits of having Phuong as a teacher is her positive, encouraging, and engaged teaching. The fact that she is also amazing at English makes it very easy for me to reify my ideas and thoughts even if I can't find the words. She'll translate them effortlessly and does immediately so that you get instant feedback. From my perspective, it is evident that she is talented at learning languages and that in turn allows her to foward those methods to me. Would recommend 10/10.
